Episode where Magnum wakes up with a hangover?

Can anyone point me in the direction of the episode where Magnum wakes up with a hangover and is trying to piece together the previous evening? I caught the start on TV recently before I had to leave for work, and would like to see the whole thing (a relative has most or all series on DVD). Thanks

Can you remember anything else? Voice over details? Higgins?

Wherever you go, there you are.

I think Higgins is implying that Magnum got blackout drunk the night before, but Magnum is denying it and thinks it was something else. Sorry if this was actually not that uncommon on the show, I have seen quite a few over the years but way under half.

I believe it's the eppisode where he is helping a couple that he had dinner with he remembers everything accept what happened after the meal he is even in hospital ( think there is an auto accident), Higgins try hypnosis and his memory does not change

It's the episode entitled "Try to Remember." Second season, fourteenth episode. Magnum is found in the Ferrari, which has gone off a cliff. He is hospitalized and has lost memory after eight o'clock the evening of the wreck. The doctors consider it amnesia, but he is skeptical when the memories refuse to return. He has been searching for a missing person, and he was having dinner with the missing woman's sister and husband the night the accident occurred. It's a wonderful episode.

I was thinking of that episode too, but OP didn't say Magnum woke up in a *hospital* bed, so I wasn't sure that was the right episode.

That is true. I just wouldn't think they would use such a similar plot line. However, I myself have not all episodes, so it could be a different one! :)

I did see the summary for that one but I seem to remember the episode starting off quite light, whereas the hospital setting would seem to imply it was more dramatic but I will check it out anyway so thanks.

Is it the same episode where he shoots down Johnathan's remote control airplane? I remember him being woken up hung over and upset by the noise but I don't remember what happened after he shot down the plane.

That SOUND...I find quite IRRITATING! ha ha

He wasn't hung over. It was early morning, and Magnum had just gotten in from finishing a case. He was trying to go to sleep when Higgins began flying the airplane. It was the episode where Rick's sister is murdered.

reply

True.

Higgy needed to put his plane away.
