Something I never understood

Why does everyone call them Baseball Furies?

Yeah, I know they're dressed up as baseball players and use bats so that's why they call them like that, but their logo just says "Furies", shouldn't they be called like that then? None of the other gangs who have logo name on their outfits remove part of their name like that, so why just Baseball Furies?

Maybe they called them "Baseball Furies" because they also displayed an especially ferocious fury when they attacked/fought.

But my point is, the logo on their uniforms is just "Furies", not "Baseball Furies", but nobody calls them "Furies".

I suppose it was possible that there may have been other branches of The Furies, perhaps a Football Furies as well. Just like how there were once two teams in NY named "Giants," the baseball team and the football team.

Took me long to reply, I forgot I even made this thread haha, but that would make sense. I wish the movie explained it a little, otherwise it just seems like an odd inconsistency.

The radio D.J. calls them the Baseball Furies and she seems to know a lot about the gangs, so I'm assuming that's their name.

End Credits.

Maybe as not to be confused with another "Furies" gang? I'm just guessing

I was kind of hoping this thread was about the ending. I never understood when they got home to Coney Island, the rest of the Warriors weren't waiting for them. Every gang in NYC (except for the Orphans) knew what went down. One would think the news would have gotten back home, and the rest of them would have been waiting. The DJ was calling the play all along, so they knew the delegates were still alive.

Or how that bullet missed at the end...There were all standing in front of the gun. Surely someone would have got hit?
