How long will Ajax be in prison?

I mean, he didnt commit serious crime. He only lighty assault that woman and police. I hope he will get out in couple of months.

Not sure how long the sentence was, but he was at least out three years later after his new buddy Billy Bear broke him out of a chain gang.

After that he met up with his old friend Reggie Hammond, even if that didn't turn out so well.

Well, the movie continued in comic book form. He was broken out shortly after. The actual prison was so full from all of the arrests from the big meeting that Ajax was taken to some type of minimum security detention center. There were a handful of Riffs in there too so the Warriors and Riffs collaborated in the breakout.

I would have thought he would have been killed in prison by the other gang members. He was tough but so was War Chief/Cleon.

Perhaps his status with the other gangs would have changed once the Warriors were vindicated and found innocent by the Riffs. Plus, the reputation the Warriors would have gotten by bopping their way all across the city, gaining the respect of the Riffs ("you Warriors are good, real good") - the other gangs might have given Ajax a wide berth.

Assault is assault, no matter what, and it's a serious crime.
