Barlow's airtime

I did some searching. He had 73 seconds of screen time. Imagine only being on screen for that amount of time, when you took countless hours to get in all that makeup. I'd be pissed. He deserved more.

Less is more. He has a huge impact in the movie because you barely see him. It puts you on edge wondering when he's going to appear. This was made in the days when an audience could use their imagination and storylines and suspense were more important than shock value and gore.

reply

Absolutely. You feel his presence over the whole movie.

For so little screen time, he sure left an impression on me as a kid. 73 seconds on screen, but his eyes and teeth stayed with me for years.

reply

Well, of course he left an impression, but from an actor's point of view..........

reply

Yeah but he only needed to get made up once, maybe twice. Colin Farrel needs to be in that make up chair at 3am for months for his Penguin TV series.
