2 other stories for you

There appears to be some "newer" members on here, so allow me to recommend 2 other stories which somewhat revolve around "Salem's Lot", and they appear on Stephen King's 1978 "Night Shift", a book of short stories. The first, and more superior story, is simply called "Jerusalem's Lot", and you may have to read it a few times to really appreciate it. The other story is called "One for the Road", and is more in line with vampirism from our favorite town.

"Popsy" is another short vampire story, as is "The Night Flier".

They may like Silver bullet as well. Since everyone knows that werewolves are superior to vampires, lol.

The long way home is actually a sequel to Salems Lot and the other mention is a prequel.
If you are referring to Jerusalem's Lot as the prequel, I don't understand how Jerusalem's Lot was a prequel to 'Salem's Lot. It was closer to the Lovecraft story, The Rats in the Walls than it was SL. His story Graveyard Shift also reminded me of TRITW as well.

He billed it as one to explain why the town is cursed.
Not saying that he didn't present it as such, but I sure don't see it. About the only similarity that is apparent to me is the name.

Yeah. BTW, I got an update on my SL Blu Ray arrival, it's Oct 18.

I should have ordered it straight from FYE, they've already released it.
