Lifebelts
In this movie, some of the third class passengers have no lifebelts in their cabins. I've not come across this in any other source. Was this true?

As far as I know this wasn't true.
All the cabins had lifebelts in them, and none of the survivors from Third Class ever complained about a lack of lifebelts.
