The Old Lady Leading The Sing-Along In Steerage

Since so many of these background characters seem to have been real people (never knew Navratil was portrayed here), I'm left wondering who the old lady leading the sing-along in steerage might be, if she is named.

This scene is edited from all DVD releases nowadays, but I have the singing recorded on an audio casset and contemplated posting it on youtube.

I also have the shoeshine fellows during the one's singing, got a bit of the other one complaining as well.

Also have the music from the ladies sauna, when Thayer and Long are watching them and you hear Slocombe "I'll give you Shaherrazade!"

She's not named. She's Steerage Hag #1.

I have to say that I'm kind of fascinated by her, though. She reminds me of Ann Ramsey (Throw Momma from the Train, Goonies, etc). Her performance is quite genuine and I've always been touched by her.
