Green jacket?
Does anybody know why Miyazaki chose to have Lupin wear the lesser known green jacket? Especially when the more popular "red jacket" series was airing in Japan at the time

I wouldn't say the red jacket was more popular, its just the most used. Fans really liked the 1st series (Green jacket) plus he was a director of the first series along with Isao Takahata (both co-founders of Studio Ghibli) so I guess thats why I chose it.
