Anyone know what the white thing is that Lupin burns his mouth on when he is eating his noodles? My American Ramen Noodles don't have anything like that. ;)

If I can reacall its a piece of meat, I don't think it was white. But yea we really get jipped on are ramen over here. Japan has so much stuff they put in theirs its a little hard to believe, oh how I wish I could just visit Japan for only a couple months I would be so happy.
The MPAA just a buch of wacko's in buisness suits.
It's "abura-age" (or "aburage"), which means "deep fried tofu" in Japanese. While its surface is brown and crispy, it has a lot of holes inside, just like sponge. The udon that Lupin eats is a type called Kitsune Udon. It has aburage as one of the ingredients.

The noodles themselves are actually udon noodles I believe. They are thicker, flour noodles as opposed to egg noodles. Of course, I'm judging this just from the fact that they had several several packages of udon(うどん） noodles visible in the back of their fiat.
BTW, I do recommend udon if you like japanese　noodles. They are very tasty, but slippery, hot, and harder to eat. I prefer them over ramen though.]

haha, yeah. I guess you can't expect too much filler in something that cost less than 20 cents per package. It sure made feeding myself a lot easier though, freshman year of collage:D
Note that you can see the bowls of ramen among the other stuff in the back of the car in early shots prior to the chase sequence.
