Enquiry to all the the knowledgable fans

I remember watching the original english dub of this film a few years ago and thought it was fantastic. I had to have it!!!! But I got the DVD some time ago with the new dub (I noticed it instantly)

BUT.... I could swear that it was longer, that there were scenes missing or something? I could swear I thought that the farewell at the end of the film between Lupin and the Lady Claurice was slightly longer and it had different words (words are obviously part of the new dub, but I just want to point it out anyway). And that there were other parts missing as well!

Can anyone tell me if this is true? Or am I just unconsciously dreaming this up? HELP!!

There are no scenes cut in the Manga Entertainment version or the new Optimum Releasing version.

Also if you want to get the old dub, buy the new release of Cagliostro here in the UK by a company called Optimum Releasing.

From what I understand from notes on the Streamline version, the opening and other sections were edited or re-arranged as Streamline was so often want to do.

I think that's the Manga release - the opening title sequence with the Japanese text and music is replaced by still shots of the characters with English credits.
