For years I've been trying to figure out who this "Bobby" person is. I have become quite fond or her mature, sultry jazz voice, a respite from the usual drivel of helium-induced J-POP I usually hear on anime soundtracks. I have even checked Japanese-language website for anything on Bobby, but to no avail. I know composer Yuji Ohno works primerally in jazz, and has performed Lupin songs on his tours. Is/was Bobby a member of his group?

Well 5 years passed since this topic started but i also want to now this Bobby person. I'll just bump it to wait for an answer or another person to bump it five years later.

I've never found anything else she did, there is also an manga artist with the same name - could the same person, but I don't know for sure.

It is probably the case, she was a session singer and recorded under different names, or this could be her only recording. That is all I know.

If you, or someone else reading knows Japanese, please search this further, I'd love to get more of her work.
