In about 1997/1998 I saw a music video on MTV that was a remake of Over the Edge, it was NOT Smells Like Teen Spirit. It looked exactly like the movie. Does anyone know who the band was/ what song it was? I think it was an alternative rock band.

Not 1979, although that does have the same feel. This video was exactly like the movie. The actors looked the same, they were on a playground, and I think they mess up the school. Late 90's alternative rock.

shareSupposedly the original video script of 1979 involved the teenagers trashing the convenient store. Which really makes me wonder if it was meant to be a nod to Over the Edge.
