Need some help on what Herzog says in a featurette

I have a 13 minute featurette about Nosferatu made during the production of it, where Herzog talks about the film and his work as a director. In it he says he is 35 years old and has already done 18 films, but he's not done yet. Then he says "I want to make a film as good as Murnau's film. Or one film like Griffith has done, or one film by Semiyaka Altuschenko or one film like Kurosawa". Now, he's not saying Semiyaka Altuschenko, but what the heck is he saying? It sounds like Semiyaka. The others a clear, and I know he's mentioned Pudovkin among these others as some of his favorite directors, but that's not it.

He says it here (10:35) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FixweXs8dwM&t=10m35s

Hiya. The director he refers to is Alexander Dovzhenko, whose War Trilogy (Zvenigora, Arsenal and Earth) are masterpieces of Soviet cinema, well worth checking out.
