Question about this version

Hello

I know sometimes animated movies will use cover art that doesn't actually represent the true style of the animation.

I've been looking for the version of TLW&W that I remember as a child. I had completely forgotten this story until the recent version was created and the image of Aslan brought it all back to memory.

The cover art that is on the imdb title page for this version doesn't look like the type of animation that I know the one I'm looking for was made in. It doesn't look like it would be from 1979 at all actually. Can anyone tell me if this version looks like what I see in the cover art (with the goofy looking lion, witch, and kids)? The one I'm looking for had a much more serious, fine arts quality.

Thanks for any info.

Oh, goodbye mama. I'll never do dishes again.

I own this version, and yes, the witch looks like that, as well as the girl, Lucy, who has blond pigtails and Edmond has glasses and curly hair.

It's not a bad version, but it may not be the one you are looking for.

I think it was produced by Bill Melendez, he also produced the "Peanuts" cartoon specials. Some of the voices are the same too.
