I saw this when I was a kid and it really blew me away. Maybe the animation looks silly now, but back then it was real good. Anyway, I remember most the Lion being shaved and how it was very dramatic. I'm wondering if this is the version?

Well, this is the only animated version. So yes, you've got the right one.
