Lots of work for the dancers

The dancers and some minor characters are used over and over again. From the hippy park scenes to the debutant party scene both male and female you can recognize them. For example: one of the singing girls singing the electric blues also shows up as a dancer in Claude's acid induced wedding/pregnancy scene.

The first party doing the colored song some of the dancers are also in the debutant party background.

"Colored"? Lol

reply

That wasn't supposed to be a joke. It's part of the song.

A large "colored man" sings, "I'm a Colored, spade or.....then takes off on an entire derogatory list.

(Note) To fully enjoy the musical understanding what the music is saying is a big help.

Yes, I know what it's saying. It's called satire. It's mocking people with racial prejudice. Apparently that sailed right over your little head.

So what's your beef?

I was simply saying it was easy to tell the dancers were used over and over throughout the movie.
