The dance scene in the teepee
Did this scene remind anyone else of he dance scene in "The Court Jester" withe Danny Kaye? The knight initiation scene? Even down to the tempo of the music. Maybe this was a nod to Danny Kaye?
shareI don't remember the scene, but if he was bringing Jewish dancing into the movie's mostly Christian Middle Ages, then definitely that might have been (conscious of unconscious) inspiration! I do not know if you ask this knowing or not know that Danny Kaye was Jewish.
