Creepiest end credits!

There was a thread to this couple of years ago so i'm reopening it. Did any one else think that the end credits scene with final shot of dummy laying in Morris's bed with Jerry Fielding's music playing in the background was absolutely creepy? It sure was for me. It also creates this uneasy feeling of ambiguity about what happened to escapees, did they made it or not?

Escape From Alcatraz and The French Connection have the creepiest end credit scenes ever. Only in the 70's films they could have done this!

The dummy head was creepy but the music especially so! If you listen closely, there's some really weird sounds in the music as the credits roll to the end of the film. Very trippy stuff!

I first watched this movie when I was a kid, and the end credits still haunt me to this day.

I agree, the crude fake head always totally creeped me out when I was younger. Then the credits slowly roll by with the music over it. This was a quality movie even though some people might say it had some prison clichés in it. I liked it.
