These Scenes Show Its Original Color Presentation!

The documentary 'THE ROAD TO DRACULA', on the Legacy & 60th Editions DVDs of 1931's DRACULA
shows a few scenes of THE 1979 version of the 'Dracula Color' as originally seen in theaters, cable & laser disc.

THAT Color looks awesome (and rich).

The current de-sat' color is a constant distraction away from the story by
reminding us we're watching a film that's been tampered with.

There's something wrong when your Beta tape copied off of Cinemax in 1984 has color superiority.

Alota people who enjoyed this original presentation should be justifiably annoyed that this version isn't available.

The funny thing is that I was watching that (The Road to Dracula) just last night! It was shock (I mean that in a good way) to see the 1979 "Dracula" back with its full rich color. I don't care if the director drained out the color on purpose--it makes the movie look terrible. Worst of all is when u see Lucy (or Mina--I forget which one) as a vampire she had glowing red eyes. With the color drained they came out looking white!
