Mina's Coffin

I think the opening of her coffin was the creepiest part of the movie, especially when Dr. Seward and Van Helsing find that a tunnel had been dug out of it and they follow it to see what they'll find.

The more I study it, the greater the puzzle becomes.

I agree that this is the creepiest part of the film. It scared me a lot as a child and is still quite effectively staged today.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

OMG. I remember watching this on TV in the early 80s with my parents. I was only 7 or 8 and it was the summer. I had to go to bed right after that scene and I remember clearly being so scared that I couldn't sleep that night.

It wasn't opening the coffin. It when they go into the catacombs and she's there. That's what scared me so much. Still does.
