I have the laserdisc with original color

It's actually a very colorful film and the dinner sequence is filmed in a golden tone which is pretty impressive. Also noticeable is the optical effects used on the wolf and Lucy's eyes. They can't be seen in the washed out version. I may put some clips on YouTube in the future.

I noticed the color was very washed out and looked just like the films of today rather than a 1970s film. If I didn't know it was released in 1979 beforehand I would've guessed it was made within the past 10 years because it doesn't really feel dated and the color scheme on the DVD looks identical to the style of new horror movies.

Please do, and let me know when you do. I've only ever seen the desaturated version.

I'd even love to look at some screen caps!

Please do! Modern color is so ugly. It´s still great film but...

“Look, you don’t really think that I could be in love with a rotten little tramp like you, do you?”
