Good quality. Just watched it, and to the best of my recollection of the last time I saw it, it's uncut (not sure how much longer it'll be there).

I can't access this (need to confirm my age on youtube via providing I.D., which I have not and will not).

I can see it was uploaded 3 months ago, it's likely the new remaster from 88 Films (UK home media company).

Their copy is uncut save for 14 seconds of one animal killing, the killing of the coati. The runtime is likely the same as the shot was replaced with recycled footage of monkeys in previous cut versions. The British Board of Film Classification allowed the other animal killings to be shown because the animals didn't suffer for long, the coati killing was too long for their liking (prolonged suffering) so they won't allow it to be shown.

To tell, that scene takes place at approximately 18mins 50seconds. You'll see a coati getting cut open, whimpering and then dying. The killing is 14 seconds in duration.

I think the only true uncut HD version is the 2014 USA blu-ray from Grindhouse.

ETA: Needless to say you're not missing much by not seeing one animal get sliced open for 14 seconds.

I've done a bit more digging around, and yes the killing of the coati is the only scene that's cut (well, shortened). The version I saw back in '83 was completely uncut (shown to me by the police officer who'd seized it!).

I own a few Blu-rays from 88 Films (I'm in the UK), including Night of the Demons 2 and Evil Dead Trap. They've released some good stuff.

Wow, honestly surprised YouTube would allow this to be on their site. I know it's all simulated except the animal killing, but still...

I was surprised to see it there. I thought I'd give it a watch before it disappeared!

i thought the corpse mutilation was real. And Im' pretty sure they used actual footage of war atrocities.

Yes, the firing squad footage is real. From Nigeria, I think.
