Really? You don't remember the over the top scenes of people yelling at the top of their lungs? Or the now funny scene of the photoshopped pig in the window?

That's not the right word I guess but they took a film of a pig on a farm and edited it into a shot of the movie. It looks very silly and out of place.

I thought it was the one "special effect" in the movie that didn't work.

Yeah. That shot of the pig does look pretty silly. Though it might have to do with how movies are done now.

I don't even remember that scene. Maybe the tv version edited that out. What I remember most is how scared I was watching this and then how disappointed (and later relieved) when I found out it was all a hoax.
