Who voiced the house???
I can't find any info on it.
The house was mostly silent, but did once speak ("Get out! GET OUT!").

Good question. I don't know who it was either. Never seen anything on it in trivia etc. But, whoever it was, they knew how to sound scary. It's about the only unnerving scene in the movie IMO.
shareI somehow just found that part silly. I would like someone to edit that scene so that the house has this dialog from What about Bob. "Get out. Get out! Get ouuuut! (then show the preacher coming down the stairs) You've ruined my life! You've ruined my career! You've ruined my book! You've turned a peaceful house into an insane asylum! Get out!"
shareMost probly Rod Striger when on the booze lol
shareYears ago on this board, someone said that Rod Steiger did it himself, because he thought it would be interesting if the priest and the house had the same voice.. No idea if it's true.
shareThe voice is creepy as ****, especially at the end when they were escaping and the sewing room door flew open.
