At the end of the movie when George walks out and Jenny is laying on the bed you see her butt. Yes? Well who agrees she has the cutest butt!!! And a good sized rack. Yes?

These observances are not revelations! Bo's idiot husband John Derek knew what he had when she was at the tender age of 16 (Derek had plenty of practice in this area, having previously been married to Ursula Andress and Linda Evans). Derek put her in movies immediately, showcasing her lovely body even before she was legal (but making sure to release the footage AFTER she was his Missus). Once becoming the sensation of "10" she did Playboy repeatedly as well as Derek's own productions which were all horrible (except for Bo's awesome presence). Derek revelled in her beauty and some might say perhaps unfairly that he pimped her out---he definitely profited from her---but thank goodness he did because I cannot imagine a world without her. I fell for her in the 80s and have been a smitten kitten ever since, and it warms my heart to see her enter middle age with all her beauty and grace not only intact but still growing. And with all the skin that she showed us over the years, she's never become the sleazy caricature and late-night joke like most of today's female sex symbols. Bo is sweet, lovely, and absolutely sexy and I'll watch anything she's involved with!

That was a good post..

I remember this as the first R rated movie I ever saw when I was quite young, it happened to be while I was babysitted in someone elses home at the time, it was on HBO back when there was only one station on cable. This is definitely one of the better movies of the 70's, & one where the portrayal of having homosexual friends or using drugs isn't sensational, or the movie wasn't made sensational for it in following years. I was so lucky to find this dvd in very good condition at a thrift store.

I'm sorry to say this but I always thought she was pretty but not sexy. That's why attempts to turn her into a sex symbol didn't really take off and most of her subsequent movies bombed.

In the mid 1980s, in a bookstore in a mall, I found a book of picture of her (some nude) her loving husband had taken.

Her butt's kind of small. Wish she was more rounded there. Her buttcrack looks like it only goes halfway up. Also wish she had more of an hourglass shape. She looks too thin in her nude scenes.

Like I said in another board I think the cornrows make a big difference. Without them Bo's body looks unremarkable to me. Not ugly, just nothing special about it. But those cornrows made her look a whole lot sexier.

I remember going to see this several times when this came out, and being utterly mesmerized by the beach scenes where she is running in slow motion in her bathing suit, then rolling around in the wet sand and waves. VERY exciting for those times. Also I like the overall classiness of Blake Edwards' films.

Thanks for reminding me about the photo layouts. I am sure I bought every magazine she appeared in then back then. She was all the rage and what a great first film to appear in!

I was Lucky as a Young man to meet Bo and John at a saddlemaker in Santa Barbara, I think it must have been in 1990. I was there to shoot a portrait of the master craftsman, and John gave me some encouraging Words(I was a student at the time). Bo was definitely a 10, and sweet.
