A 1970's version of The Seven Year Itch.

Okay. So, I've seen this movie on DVD a year ago. I will say that watching it for the first time, it is kind of dated since the subject of infidelity being treated for laughs wouldn't fly off the handle if the movie was to be made today. More importantly, this movie came before the AIDS epidemic, which is something to point out. I have to admit that the movie does have some big laughs including the church scene where Moore is stung by a bee and also the scene later on where he questions the priest and his elderly housekeeper, which is outrageously hilarious. I have to say I like it. But, the movie to me reminded me of Billy Wilder's comedy The Seven Year Itch, in which Marilyn Monroe, filling in for Bo Derek, seduces the married man while his wife doesn't notices. The famous scene in which Dudley Moore fantasizes about Bo Derek running on the beach is kind of the same thing with Marilyn Monroe's skirt being blown up from the underground subway train. Anyway, I think the movie is very funny and also very erotic as well.
