We need more boobies mixed in with intelligent social comedy, for today's films.

We were much more relaxed. We didn't have the hang-ups that society seems to have developed over the last 2 decades. If life in this movie seems like it was much more fun back then, it's because it was. Political correctness has really destroyed the carefree American way of life.

I love this movie (and Foxes with Jodie Foster) for their 70's Southern CA settings. The locations and laid-back lifestyle make me wish I had lived there at that time. I was alive then, but I was a child and I lived in CT. Except for some memories of dancing to disco music and having to wear a tux with ruffles to my aunt's wedding in '77, I can't say I experienced all the 70's had to offer. Or maybe I did :/

I love this movie and Foxes as well... miss that era - late 70s early 80s were incredible socially. Gas lines weren't cool, but the people were.

Couldn't agree more. Actresses today are too uptight and wimpy.
