Does anyone have any idea when The Complete Minder DVD Boxset is coming out at all?
I've noticed it on a few online stores, but unfortunately the release date was TBC so am hoping someone might have been able to dig up some info.

According to Clearvision, the makers of the boxset it does contain the specials!

I'm going to get the set from Clearvision. They are selling it for 105.99 which I think is a cracking price.
I'm puzzled as to wether this collection will include the 'Early Years Bonus' episode and the episode 'Around The Corner' as these were released on a previous specials dvd. I think the specials included in the new complete collection are An Officer and a Car Salesman and The Cruel Canal, as well Minder On The Orient Express.
Can anyone who has the new collection confirm if Early Years Bonus and Around The Corner are included.

Apparently the Austrailia version of Minder is better, it has commentery and more special features, I'm really anoyed at this, ordering them from Australia will cost about £300-£400 for them all, but I think it would be a good Idea if we got fans to e-mail Clearvision asking for a new boxset just containing the commentary episodes, just with the commentary tracks and any special features clearvision did not release!

shareI've decided not to buy the Minder collection from Clearvision. After checking out the Minder.org forums the opinion is the Australian releases are much better. They have uncut episodes and more special features than the Clearvision releases.
There is a seller on ebay (philsalesuk) that sells the Australian Minder releases. I have just bought the first three series ( approx 80.00GBP inc. shipping ) from this seller and received them within ten days ( Australia to the UK ). I highly recommend this seller and will be buying the rest of the series this way.
I know that 300.00GBP may appear alot but I can say that for that price you're getting a Minder collection that is head and shoulders above the Clearvision set and well worth it.

I found out that this seller has two ebay stores. The second store is called philsales1 and it has all the remaining Minder Box-Sets ( now including Series 10 ). Although it appears to be a store selling within Australia, international delivery is available.

I have heard that the scene featuring the song 'Nowhere Man' by the Beatles in the episode 'Dreamhouse' has been removed on the UK Clearvision releases of Minder.
Is the song included in the Australian Umbrella DVD releases? Over and above that, are any other songs that were originally present in the TV broadcast versions included on the Umbrellas DVD releases?
