Ray Daley Years!

Not long started watching season 8, saw a few eps of seasons 8, 9 an 10 before but now I'm watching them religiously like I have done in the past with the Waterman years. Their still very watchable, but now I only really watch them for Arthur. Watched The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Entrepreneur an it actually physically annoyed me to see Arthur have to put up with Ray (he seems just a little too wet behind the ears, you can't imagine Arthur actually enjoying himself having to hang out with Ray) whereas on the older episodes you often thought how can Terry put up with Arthur, but that was funny! This morning I watched The Last Temptation Of Daley an the end fight scene was so poor it just made me miss Terry even more. What did the producers think the audiences reactions would be to seeing the new Minder not even be able to have a good scrap! An I'm really not happy with why an how Terry left. After everything he's been through with Arthur are we expected to believe he wouldn't invite him to his wedding or atleast tell him he's getting married an then he sods off to Australia without even saying bye, thats no way for such a legendary character to be written out. So my point is the last 3 seasons are very high quality entertainment but I'm no longer watching it expecting a good double act, its more the Arthur Daley show now with with some fun recurring characters!
