Terry's erroneous theft conviction in Caught In the Act episode

in which Lady Margaret was doing the shop lifting....did this stay on his record? Watchihg it, I was expecting the truth to be revealed when it ended suddenly on his leavihg the court room

Yes, it did. There's a reference to it in another episode, but I can't remember which one. Terry says something about being on a suspended sentence for the shoplifting. I hated it that he ended up convicted for something he didn't do.
