EPIC FAIL!!

It makes NO sense that whoever would go through all the trouble of rounding up the cast and having a reunion without an announcement that the boxset was coming out!!
FAIL!!!!

Back in the day when this was on every week, I even got my macho boyfriend hooked on watching, EVERYONE wants to enjoy this show in it's entirety!!

Debating with a fool is like spitting on a fish, it's best not to bother.

Are you talking about 10 years ago?

The biggest issue with Knots Landing getting further seasons out is probably a lot down to the music. You just can't replace the songs Ciji/Cathy sang and then there's other instances of them using music...

I think it's more down to low sales of the first couple of seasons because Warners wanted Dallas-like sales and didn't get them. Ciji wasn't even in Season 3 and that's not been released. Perhaps Shout Factory will get the rights eventually though if Warners aren't interested in releasing any more.

It's sad but true, the first 2 seasons didn't sell well at all... I think it would have sold better if they had combined seasons 1 and 2, but that's hindsight. Shout! is the most likely to release further seasons, they've done that with many other shows that had a season or two released, but 14 seasons is a lot to release.

I think the only real hope at this point would be to release the entire series in a box set, kind of like studios have done with the Six Million Dollar Man- that cost $200 bucks but it came with every season. The demand for KL just isn't out there enough to justify a season by season release, but I think there would be a demand for an exclusive, limited box set. It'd probably cost around $300 though, and I don't know how many fans would or could fork over that much money. I would, though!
