This week I write about COURAGEOUS CONVICTIONS, the first episode of the series to focus 100% on Richard Avery. This is actually a pivital early episode as it shows us Laura's first step towards becoming the independent, tough woman we will know and love for the rest of the series when she finally stands up to Richard and lays down the low for him. Poor Laura. Richard was awful to her. I did think Richard was an interesting character though.



Thanks MGM... I will SO ENJOY reading your blog... I caught "glimpses" of KL in the 80s, but at age 13, in 1990, near the end of season 11, I started watching it religiously after a visit to my Granny in FL... Last year I found the entire season available for purchase online (recorded from "SoapNet" in the late 90's) and have been having an AWESOME TIME watching seasons 3-10, and now starting over again from the beginning... Great to know that there's others out there that have taken the time to think about the context of each episode, season, character, actor and the phenomenon of Prime Time Eighties Soaps from an "itellectual spin"... Thanks again, I appreciate your efforts and look forward to reading more!@
