This show won't be 'banned', networks will merely 'decide not to air'

Don't you get it?

Unless of course a network decides to air the show...then the FCC will
creep in questioning renewing their license.

Still...it's NOT CENSORSHIP.

reply

Wrong. TV Land banned all reruns.

reply

'Pulled', but same thing.

I don't generally make a habit of admitting I used to watch Drawn Together, but is anybody else flashing on that episode when Mickey Mouse rounded up all old stereotype cartoons to eliminate them so people would never remember offensive cartoons ever existed?

reply

More importantly, Universal, who has more common sense than Warner, is still Syndicating Smokey and the Bandit like nothing ever happened.

The car in that film had a Georgia state/confederate flag licence plate.

reply

if you want, you (while you still can) buy Dukes on DVD.

The FCC has never threatened a station for showing the Dukes. It’s just a few ignorant loudmouths that sound off and make it seem like most people oppose it.

reply

America shall censor racism

reply

Thankfully we have the Dukes to stand against racism.
