This is the world we are living in now. Get used to it!

A portion of the country finds the rebel flag offensive. The response is to ban it and wipe every trace of it from our collective memory.
A vastly larger portion of the country finds homosexuality offensive for religious reasons. The response is: To bad, deal with it under penalty of law.

I honestly don't have a problem with either. I'm actually in favor of both keeping the flag for historical reasons, and letting people live their lives the way they want with equality. I just don't like the hypocrisy. I also don't like the way the media drives public opinion. Nine-tenths of news is now Op-ed brainwashing people, and it is extremely bias. The left has just about every TV news outlet there is. The right only has FOX. Yet Fox beats all the other outlets combined day and night. What does that say? It say that there is still a silent majority in this country not represented.

More like, unless someone actively seeks out Fox, chances are they will only hear one side. So for the uninitiated and people that don't really follow news, they will be passively swayed because all they will hear is what's on almost every channel, every magazine, every newspaper headline. Add to that Hollywood celebrities and movies pushing liberal leftist politics. And how hip is to ridicule Fox. People are slowly indoctrinated.

You won't know. But it will be entertaining to see you running around asking everybody if they saw who did it. Fly that flag. It will bring you bad luck and won't win you any friends. It will let people know exactly who you are.

It's actually 68 not 72. The other leading news outlets are 62. So, not much of a difference.

I would guess younger people get their news from technology based sources like the internet, twitter, or Jon Stewart. But they're still being brainwashed by Hollywood and mass media(and Jon Stewart). Movies we watch push the agenda, actors who have the power of the celebrity platform we can't help hearing, the music and artists we listen to are overwhelmingly liberal. It all has an insidious effect in shaping the way we think.

People who insist on Flying Confederate Flags, or placing Confederate Flags on their cars... TODAY... Should know they are taking that risk.

The part that I despise, is banning the sale of DVDs of a TV Show that went of the air 30 YEARS AGO. Because a "Star Car" was painted with one. And that is the only reason...

Who Cares?...That was 30 YEARS AGO! It was NOT an issue THEN. Why is it one NOW? And why make it an issue, when there are plenty of more important issues TODAY, that are actually issues that people need to worry about.

I think it's interesting and disturbing that a huge portion of the American public, that had no opinion of the Confederate flag a month ago, is suddenly anti-everything confederate. This is the same American public that can't even identify the reason behind the Fourth of July or name the three branches of the government. See any Jimmy Kimmel man on the street sequence for further proof.

But once the opinion-makers and news personalities get a hold of a topic and spread it throughout the twitterverse, opinions quickly change. Suddenly everyone is an expert.

Personally, my only attachment to the flag is through DOH. I see this is a revealing experiment. Any symbol, music, movie, artist or book that displeases a specific group can be labeled as non-progressive if the opinion-makers decide to lead the public in that direction.

Now that the formula has worked with confederate symbolism, this will happen again. But what will the next target be?...

Nazi swastikas because it reminds one of the whole Jewish genocidal holocaust, but then again, wasn't the holocaust just racism taken to the most extreme factor?

Just wait, pulling of programs because of the swastika is coming, just wait and see.

Well, I'd say it probably will be done when it's done,

I doubt it. Because the Swastika was never portrayed in a positive light. Even Hogan's Heroes portrayed the German soldiers as idiots.

I agree... what would be the payoff? I don't know of anyone who uses the German swastika flag as anything other than an association with Nazism. That makes it a lot different from the Southern Cross and it's association with slavery.

I think the target is going to be a continuation of the campaign to limit the free exercise of religion. They'd probably prefer to get rid of the Second Amendment, but they seem to have more luck with the First.

I think state of California and Texas flags could be the next targets. I even read LA Times article proclaiming the Cali flag as racist.

The red star in the California flag obviously represents Communism and the depradations of Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot.

Also, we've fought wars against Great Britain... why the heck is Hawaii allowed to fly the Union Jack?

The Massachusetts flag is also incredibly racist. Oooooh, look at the little Indian with his bow and arrow!

I am asking to who can give a REAL answer to this question: why is it always 5 black guys fighting 1 white guy. Or 3 on 1. I've seen lots of fights before, be it in person or on tv or on YouTube and the white girl/white guy is ALWAYS OUT NUMBERED? WHY? I've never seen a fight where the whites out numbered the blacks. In my school back in the days I witnessed a white shy,aybr slow but I wasn't sure, get beaten up by 4 black girls and I said something and the one girl starts yelling and by that time the teachers came. Well the big mouth told her boyfriend and the boyfriend and 7 of his friends wanted to beat me up and I said I'd fight them one at a time but not all 8. So of course he didn't know what to say and in typical fashion 1 of them sucker punched me and then 5 of them jumped me. YouF ucking cowards! I had a broken rib and got bruised and bloodied. I named every black guy there plus 4 of the 5 who jumped me. My cousin found out about and him and some friends went and found 3 of the 5 and they made sure each one got what they deserved. Funny thing is I never told anyone, except my mom and my brother. Anyway the other 5 pussies went into hiding but it didn't do them any good. All because I told 4 girls to stop beating up 1 girl. You must be aF scared piece ofS hit to fight 5 on 1. Or to chicken to fight a fair fight. AND IN CASE YOU DONT KNOW IT FIGHTING 1 ON 1 IS CONSIDERED A FAIR FIGHT!!!
