Why did Ethan Phillips and Didi Conn leave the show at the end of season 6. The show definitely lacked something after they left.
Also... anyone know why Caroline McWilliams left after season 2?
I guess it was due to contract issues. Yeah, when Pete and Denise left the show sort of changed for me.

But I still feel if ABC had left Benson alone in the usual 7pm (Central) slot on Friday (for Season 7, instead of pushing it up an hour and putting it head-to-head vs. Dallas on CBS), it still would have at least been around for an 8th season. A shame.
