The episode " Archie Fixes Up Fred"

This episode was groundbreaking
in the fact that it was one of the earliest television depictions of the evil of what the straight Community would think that you could straighten somebody out who was gay.
And it also brought attention to the bs stereotypes that only a certain type of man could be gay.Turns out an older man in the bar wants to get rid of the gay waiter Fred. This older man named Tom starts spreading a rumor about how he was in another bar and how gay people took it over ,he insists Archie fire Fred.Of course Archie tries to hook Fred up with a girl thinking that will straighten him out but then what happens is Fred finally tells Archie the reason that Tom wants him fired is because Tom is gay and Fred turned down Tom's advances. And yes I know exactly what that's about , I see lots of married men do it all the time they walk into a place will see a guy that they played with, they get scared and pull that same kind of bs.
