Just got the Japanese region free blu ray and this is the best this movie has ever looked! This is a great crime caper classic that needs to be seen in high definition to appreciate the film like never before. Splendid film on a splendid blu ray! Why won't other countries treat this great film with such respect.

Wow.

I didn't even know they were releasing a Blu-ray for this.

I just checked Amazon.co.jp and it looks like it'll run around $35 including shipping.

Is that where you purchased yours from?

Good to hear about the quality. I hope they will release it in Europe as well. I have the DVD but I would upgrade if it comes out.
