are you serious?

This a fantastic movie. I love everything about it. I am always crying my eyes out by the end of it though. I love the theme song.

It's called trolling, and no board is safe from it.

This is an excellent film with incredible performances and terrific direction.

Amen... troll, troll go away don't come back any day!!

It was originally a play.

"That's something you'll never hear from me, Capt. Butler, as long as you live"

When this film came out, I saw it in a theatre and enjoyed it. Now, for those of you who are under 40, this is I assume, rather dated. For those of us over 40, it is a pretty good snapshot of the eras for which it portrays. I can understand someone under 40 thinking this is a crappy film; but I think it is an excellent film that evokes a lot of memories for me. Different sense of the film for me than when it came out. I more than enjoy it now.

More like you're the retarded one!! This is one of my favorite movies. I've also seen the play done by a local theater group--excellent!! I was worried it wouldn't live up to the movie with Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn. I'm guessing you're probably too young to appreciate a classic!!!

reply

Im sure you'd hate "Give Em' Hell Harry" then. Just one actor carrying an entire, oscar nominated, performance!

reply

That is the whole point.. it is a classic, not retarded.. an incidentally, both these actors were founders of the actor's studio ( hence the t.v. show on bravo)in new york city, so they must be doing something right!! It is probably one of the best master's programs out there for acting, playwriting, film, or anything else.. I only wish I were fortunate enough to attend..

Stop hating and show some respect..
