what is the name of the hotel in the movie?

shareUm - it's a long time since I've seen the film or read the book, but I think it was called The Sea Shadows Inn (in the book, which was a novelization of the film).

It is now called the Heritage house Inn, its located just south of the town Mendocino in Northern California. My wife just stay there actually in that room and it was beautiful. Its a little pricey, but well worth it.

We spent 2 nights there on our honeymoon. There's a vhs copy of the movie in your room when you check in.
Heritage House Inn, as of this past December, has closed due to foreclosure. It's a sad loss and hopefully someone will soon open it again. A beautiful location!
