DVD Release Question

I just bought the 2004 release of the DVD (region 1) and noticed there are no interactive menus, no trailer and no Spanish/French subtitles (as listed on the back of the DVD case). When inserted, the movie starts playing automatically and that is all I can access.

The widescreen anamorphic video and audio quality is very nice for an older film, I just want to confirm that this is normal behavior for this release.

I located a comment at Amazon about the 2004 DVD release having no extras and I just want to clarify.

Just noticed the below comment here at IMDb...

Finally released on DVD this month (April 2004), and plays really well 26 years after its initial release. Unfortunately, no added extras in the DVD re-release (would love follow-up interviews with the principals, but alas ...).

Basically the same comment that Amazon had. I just need to clarify that this is totally bare bones with no menus or anything.
