I just love this movie...

It's so hard to define this movie...yes, they were married and had an ongoing affair every year...but I always thought the "sex" was secondary to the extraordinary friendship that they shared.

Not only did they love each other but they loved each other's spouses at the same time...

My husband can't understand how I can love a movie about two people cheating on their spouses but I see George and Doris as two soul mates who were married to other people because of a quirk in timing...

This movie is just so beautiful and romantic...I fall in love with it again every time I see it.

Yep, that´s pretty much what I think about this movie

Of course, bananas are far more interesting.

I enjoyed the film because the writing is so 70's hippie biased. Looking back, it's fun to see writers in the 70's writing 50's and 60's America.
