A british film called 'Dead of Night' which has I believe seven other stories, saved the best for last with a ventriloquist dummy taking over Michael Redgraves. There is also a Twilight Zone episode with Cliff Robertson called 'The Dummy' from season three.
shareyeah those are about the only ones that are relatively close but really, they're not close to the high-quality creepiness that "Magic" is just dripping with ... sticks to you for some time after watching it in a completely dark room too :)
