They aren’t going to make the villian black. The Shark will be a great White. The heroes will all be black. So they can symbolically fight against white supremacy.

The problem lies with the actual name of this species of shark. It should be renamed. The term "great white" just screams white privilege. The species should be renamed to something more nuetral

well , its only a band of white along the bottom of the shark , so i suggest:
"Average White Band" shark.
