Goldie Braless = Distracting!

Just caught this movie last night, and forgot how great it was! Having grown up in the 70's, this movie is part of my formative years, as is Goldie.

That being said, her bralessness the entire movie was distracting to me! I know she's a petite woman, and doesn't really have much up on top, but her jiggling was bugging me! I know the whole "burn the bra" thing was more like the early 70's, and I guess Goldie didn't really need a bra, but geez! Did a lot of women go braless in that era?

The only time I really noticed it was when she was on the boat making milk. When I saw that I didn't remember that part as a kid.

I just saw the film again recently and noticed she doesn't seem to where a bra through the whole thing, though I don't remember that from veiwing when it came out in the late 70's.

I was in college when this came out and perhaps 50% of college and high school girls when without back then. Those were the days!

I hate to be a thread necromancer, but I just saw this for the first time and Goldie's lack of bra is all I could think about during the whole damn movie. I can't remember the last time a woman was actually distracting to me in a movie. The modern concept of sexy is horrendous. I was born 20 years too late :(

1973-1978 (when this film released) was the dawn of the Women's Liberation movement (equality in the workplace, Feminism, anti-feminism, bra-burning symbolism, etc) I don't think Hawn even wore one as a person/actress [not just her Gloria character here] And she wasn't the only Fem who was bra-less during this film. Her librarian friend also was, during a scene.
