Did anyone notice REO Speedwagon in the film?

I'm watching this the other night on VH-1 Classic and out of nowhere there's Kevin Cronin, Neal Doughtery, and my all-time favorite guitarist Gary Richrath of REO Speedwagon at some signing thing at a mall or outside the radio station's studio.I did'nt mention Bruce Hall or Alan Gretzer because i did'nt see them but I'm sure they were there also. Did anyone else notice the band?

Yes. Ironically this movie was where I first heard of them. I think it came out just before their "Tunafish" album. The scene your talking about was filmed at the first Tower Records store in Los Angeles. A lot of bands used to have their album release parties there.
