Cornelia Robson???

Ok, I have never seen the movie - I have read the book. In the book, there is a character by the name of Cornelia Robson. Is she in this movie at all? She played a very large part, especially with Jackie "shooting" Simon.

Cornelia is absent from the movie, as is Tim Allerton and his mother. In the film, Cornelia's role as a witness to Simon's shooting was given to Rosalie. The same for Tim and Ferguson (since, IIRC, Tim in the book was on hand to help put Jackie to bed after she shot at Simon). Rosalie and Ferguson, who's not such a jerk in the movie, also fell in love. And the story of Linnet's father ruining Cornelia's father was given to Bowers instead.

In the book, Cornelia was the one Ferguson was in love with, but she ended up marrying Doctor Bessner. Rosalie ended up with Tim Allerton, who was on board in order to steal Linnet's pearls--which he did, but gave up. The string of pearls that the kleptomaniac Mrs van Schuyler had were the fake ones he left behind.

Another character missing was that of the Italian archaeologist Richetti, who was in a cabin on the lower level. He was the one that Col. Race was actually on board looking for, as he was a terrorist. Linnet's London lawyer was actually the character of James Fanthrop.
