Will there be another blu-ray release?

I'm frankly kind of shocked Anchor Bay hasn't milked this title on Blu-ray. They put out that blu-ray awhile back, which is out of print now, but have yet to really release the definitive version of this movie. I have the Ultimate Edition DVD, but would really love those additional cuts to be in HD.

Criteron should do a BD with all 3 and all extras

Just bought the region free umbrella blu ray. Which I got it for $25 and that seems a whole lot better than paying $100 for the out of print blu ray. The only thing I've seen Anchor Bay release recently is The Walking Dead. The only thing to do is to message Shout Factory.

Yes Scream or Criterion would be awesome eh? let's write to either companies?

We can write them. I'm assuming they tried since they did manage to acquire Day of the Dead. It would be weird if they just wanted Day and ignored Dawn.

I would love for The Scream Factory to get their hands on this. I can picture it now. Gorgeous artwork....new special features....and they could have it ready by it's 40th anniversary in 2 years.

I'd love to see Dawn get a 4K transfer. That would make an old fan extremely happy.

It's considered one of the best horror movies ever made so there is obviously a demand for a 4k release of it. My question is hasn't it happened yet? It would be great if Arrow acquired it because fans can't rely on Anchor Bay to release things for fans anymore. Even when they do, it's mediocre with no effort put into the transfer or special features.

It's oop and therefore expensive but the UK blu Ray is excellent. Best quality picture and sound yet.

Would love the Ultimate Edition on Blu Ray as well.
