Corn Queen?

Is this the one where they pick a "Corn or Harvest Queen" and all the women go out in a field make a circle and the "Queen" does it with a choosen man and at the end he is killed?

I remeber something like that from when I was a pre teen. All the women in the circle are cahnating something while the "Queen" and the guy are going at it in the middle.

Is this the same movie?

Yes, this is that mini-series. The actual titles are Harvest Lord & Corn Maiden. This was an adaptation of the book Harvest Home written by Thomas Tryon. Seanjack-1 on this board has full-length copies of the mini-series for $20 if you're interested. BTW, would you be interested in a re-make?
