I remember seeing a movie when i was a kid in the 70's. The town took someone who did something wrong and buried her under rocks until she smothered. I think I remember them being like Quakers or Amish or something like that. It's the only scene I remember. Is this the movie? I'm NOT thinking of The Lottery either. In that one she was stoned to death.

The two projects are very much kindred spirits. They share a lot of subject matter, themes, atmosphere... But, in one way, at least, they varied tremendously. Crowhaven Farm was a trim, little tv movie running one minute short of one and one-quarter hour; The Dark Secret of Harvest Home was, in its true, original form, a massive, five-hour tv movie shown over two nights!
I think both of these TV movies are much better-remembered/loved than the companies that own them realize. I really hope they get released on DVD one day -- with TDSoHH in its full form, please!
