poor impoverished millionaire rock bands

Has someone made a list of the music not included because of rights issues? I think it's high time these creeps (Pink Floyd I'm talking to YOU) were outed for the money-grubbing jerks they are.

There is a detailed analysis of the Shout! Factory release in this thread. http://www.hometheaterforum.com/topic/334984-wkrp-in-cincinnati-the-co mplete-series-review-see-posts-218-356-for-info/ As stated in the thread header, see posts 218 and 356 for lists of what did and didn't make the cut.

Please don't blame the bands if their songs couldn't be licensed. Music rights licensing is overly complex. In some cases the rights to the song (tune, lyrics) or performance (specific version by a band) are owned by a record company or other entity. Some material (such as Pink Floyd) likely can't be licensed at ANY price. Don't blame the band. Blame the record companies, publishers and their greedy lawyers.

While true in most cases, from what I understand Pink Floyd is one band you CAN blame. Roger Waters refuses to license and of his music.

And Pink Floyd is one of my all time favorites! I always heard and felt that The Rolling Stones were out for every penny, but there music was on there! I would mostly agree that it's the record companies and greedy lawyers but the band should still have some input cause most are still getting royalties!
